For over a decade, the Telugu industry has been dominated by hit movie creations which have left an indelible impression on the world. Not just in India but around the globe, Telugu cinema has made waves and continued to entertain audiences with its brilliant storytelling, captivating drama and even controversial plots. The genre has stretched its wings wide enough to captivate viewers across all age groups; not just for adults but also teenagers and children alike. One of the many reasons for this is that it's ripe with fantastic visuals that transport viewers into worlds they've never experienced before through actors they've never met before. The recently released Robo film star Mahesh Babu was helmed by A. R.Murugadoss who's an immensely talented director in Telugu cinema, who has created his own genre of stories over the years. He is known to be one of the most prominent devis amongst other filmmakers as he always tries to find a generic way to present a story as well as keep it captivating. His previous blockbuster 'Sivaji' was an example of this where the entire film was based on a King Sivaji's story from his childhood. His latest film 'Badri' too had its own exciting moments where Mahesh Babu portrayed the protagonist but more on that later. Another major reason why the Telugu industry has grown to its current heights, is due to amazing storylines that are set in rural areas. Mahesh Babu's 'Badri' was one of the first movies that had this theme with an intense fight between two people who were practically brothers. The film's storyline dealt with revenge between two ruffians who were also siblings. If you've seen the trailer or have watched Badri, you'd have noticed how intense it was. The film starred Srikanth, who played multiple roles in the movie, exclusively for Mahesh Babu. Srikanth is known to be a great character actor but this was his mega break. A lot of people got to know him after he played a stand in for Ravi Teja in 'Athadi Soodu Kuralu' and went on to play the villain in 'Pokiri'. Mahesh Babu, who was already a superstar in Telugu cinema, has been aiming to expand his horizons all across India and is also looking forward to working with big names from Bollywood. However, the reason behind Badri's success was due to the connect it had with its audience [more on that later]. The film featured, among other things, a new genre of action scenes. With the evolution of technology and media entertainment, Badri was one of the first movies to be applauded for its visual effects sequences and has even been compared with Hollywood. The film's action scenes were shot in such a way that it would feel like you were watching a video game movie and that was quite refreshing to see. According to sources, the film's success was mainly due to the combined efforts and impact of its leading actors Mahesh Babu and Srikanth. The combination between Mahesh Babu and Srikanth took everyone by surprise as they saw something very different from both these actors. 8eeb4e9f32 57
